Sea glass

The pieces of sea glass I’ve pocketed over the years inspired the colors of these towels. I love how ocean waves and currents soften the colors and the sharp edges. The fact that discarded glass can be transformed into a little treasure reminds me of how everyday things grow more beautiful with time and use.

Three Sea glass kitchen towels – one of each of the three colors below. I also currently have more of this warp on the loom so can weave a second or third towel of any of the three colors.

Riddle

I’m not sure what it is that makes black, white and red such a compelling combination. Pondering this question, I kept thinking of the riddle: what is black & white & red all over.

Two Riddle kitchen towels. They are similar to the one below, the difference being the horizontal accents stripes at the bottom (and top) of the towel.
